Raise Them Safe is a free, self-paced online safety training programme produced by Ubisec (ubisec.ca), a Canadian cybersecurity services company based in Ontario. The programme is designed for parents and guardians of children and youth in Canada.

2. Educational Purpose Only

All content in this programme is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in this training constitutes legal advice, medical advice, psychological advice, law enforcement guidance, or any other form of professional or regulated advice. Ubisec is not a licensed counselling service, legal firm, medical provider, or child protective services agency.

If you have immediate concerns about a child's safety, contact your local law enforcement or call Kids Help Phone at 1-800-668-6868. For online sexual exploitation of a child, report to Cybertip.ca.

These references are for informational purposes. These organisations have not reviewed, endorsed, or affiliated themselves with this programme.

5. Fictional Scenarios and Characters

All scenarios, narrative storylines, and characters depicted in this training — including the Davis family (Mark, Claire, Sophie, Ethan, and Noah) — are entirely fictional. They are created for educational illustration purposes only. Any resemblance to real persons, living or deceased, or to actual events, is purely coincidental and unintentional. The scenarios are designed to be representative of common experiences, not to describe any specific real situation.

When you register, you provide your name and email address. This information is used to:

  • Personalise your training experience (your name is displayed within the app)
  • Log your registration for programme analytics and improvement

This training does not guarantee any security outcome. Cybersecurity involves risk management, not risk elimination. Completion of this programme does not create any duty of care or professional relationship between you and Ubisec.
